The route covers approximately 40 km (25 miles) with around 800 m (2,625 ft) of elevation gain.
We ride on premium Electric Mountain Bikes (E-MTB). These are electric mountain bikes specifically designed for off-road riding, making the climbs comfortable and allowing you to focus on enjoying the scenery rather than the physical effort.
The terrain is varied and includes:
- Forest gravel roads and mountain tracks (most of the route)
- Quiet secondary roads (a small portion)
- Some natural trails with moderate technical sections and downhill sections.
- The total E-bike ride from the Madrid mountains to Segovia takes approximately 5 hours, including the mountain crossing and descent into the city.
While the electric assistance makes the physical effort relatively low, riders should be comfortable handling a mountain bike on uneven terrain. The route includes some gravel sections and natural trails that require basic bike-handling skills.

- Roman Aqueduct of Segovia – Finish the cycling adventure in the heart of the city, arriving by E-bike at one of Spain’s most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
