Experience the perfect blend of history, culture and nature in just one day! Join us on an unforgettable day trip from Madrid that combines the incredible Segovia´s UNESCO-listed old town with an easy hike in the breathtaking landscapes of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park.
After picking you up in Madrid, we will travel in a comfortable van with a small group (maximum 6 people) for a more personal and relaxed experience and we will head to the mountains of Madrid. We will start the morning with an easy hike in the foothills of the Guadarrama Mountains. The easy hike is suitable for all levels and offers beautiful views, pine forests, and the perfect contrast with the culture and history of Segovia old town.
After the easy hike, we will head to Segovia´s old town and we will stroll, with an official tour guide, through cobblestone streets and we will visit the iconic landmarks of the town, like the Roman Aqueduct, the Alcazar that inspired Disney and the stunning Gothic Cathedral. You will learn about the history of this castilian town and you will travel back in time to the middle ages to learn about this authentic gem.
After the walking tour in the old city of Segovia, you will have free time to enjoy the beautiful town at your own pace and of course, you will be able to enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant (not included). Your guide will suggest to you the best options of restaurants to enjoy a traditional castilian meal.
Around 3 – 3:15 pm we will head back to Madrid and we will drop you in the same spot where we picked you up in the morning.
We will get to Madrid around 4:30 pm and you will still have plenty of time to enjoy the city of Madrid during the evening/night after an amazing day trip to Segovia and to Madrid´s National Park of Guadarrama!
