After picking you up in Madrid, we will travel in a comfortable van with a small group (maximum 6 people) for a more personal and relaxed experience and we will head to the mountains of Madrid.
We will discover the iconic 16th Century Royal Monastery of El Escorial enjoying scenic viewpoints and its natural setting.
Learn with your guide about the history of one of Spain´s most important historical sites that once served as a retreat for Spanish Kings. The Royal Site of El Escorial is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Continue with a an easy guided hike in Guadarrama National Park through breathtaking forests and mountain paths at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to take photos, breathe fresh air, and disconnect from the city. No hiking experience is required. This hike is ideal for photography, stunning panoramic views and connecting with nature. You will learn, with your guide, about the amazing pine tree forests, rock formations and natural history of this National Park. Guadarrama National Park is only one hour away by car from Madrid and for many madrileños, this is our most hidden treasure.
Enjoy some free time back in the historical village and around the Royal Site. Stroll through the charming streets, take photos, relax, and choose a spot to enjoy a traditional snack or drink recommended by your guide.
We will head back to Madrid and we will drop you in the same spot where we picked you up in the morning at 2:30 aprox. You will still have plenty of time to enjoy the city of Madrid during the evening/night after an amazing day trip to El Escorial and to Madrid´s National Park of Guadarrama!

12:30 – 2 pm Free time in El Escorial.
2 pm – 3 pm Van trip from El Escorial to Madrid.
